The Algo 1196 Satellite Horn Speaker is designed to extend the reach of IP paging systems with cost-effective scalability. When paired with the Algo 8196 IP PoE+ Horn Speaker, up to three 1196 satellite speakers can be daisy-chained using standard CAT5/CAT6 cables, sharing the 16W audio output. These satellite speakers automatically sync with the 8196, adopting its zone and volume settings, and are monitored for connectivity via the 8196 web GUI or the 8300 Supervision Controller. Identical in appearance and sound output to the 8196, the 1196 also supports ambient noise response through the 8196’s microphone detection. This product is protected under US Patent No. 11,202,146.
