The Algo 8189 SIP Surface Mount Speaker is also available as the Algo 8189-IC InformaCast SIP Surface Mount Speaker, a fully InformaCast-compliant endpoint designed for voice paging, emergency alerts, and music playback. As a third-party SIP endpoint, the 8189-IC integrates seamlessly with most hosted, cloud-based, and on-premises VoIP telephone systems. Supporting multicast send and receive, this speaker can be deployed alongside other Algo IP endpoints to scale across buildings, campuses, or enterprise networks with minimal network traffic. All original features of the Algo 8189 are retained in the 8189-IC model.
