Algo’s 1198 Satellite Ceiling Speaker offers an affordable way to expand IP paging systems without compromising quality. Ideal for large installations in educational institutions, commercial spaces, and transportation hubs, the 1198 works seamlessly with the 8198 SIP PoE+ Ceiling Speaker. Using CAT5/CAT6 patch cables, multiple satellite speakers can be daisy-chained and monitored through the 8198’s web GUI or the 8300 Supervision Controller. With identical acoustics and appearance to the 8198, the 1198 automatically inherits zone and volume settings and responds to ambient noise for optimal sound coverage.
